Select the files to process

This window can also be invoked:

From the Main menu via File > Open Folder.

When the Automation options feature is enabled

By default, only Image and RAW files will be processed with RoboImport but you may select custom import criterion if you have other file import requirements. Here are two examples of such criteria:

Import Only RAW files.
Import Only Image Files which are larger than 100Kb and were taken during the last week.

You will see the files you selected in the Preview Resulting Structure window. By default the "Shooting YearMonthDay" folder naming scheme is selected. You can see the folders arranged according to this scheme on the left folders panel and the selected folder files on the right panel. This display is just a preview, no changes are implemented on your PC at this stage.

Select folder naming scheme

Select a destination folder from "Destination Folder" dropdown box. Then choose a suitable folder naming scheme from the "Subfolders" dropdown box. Choose the one which you think will work best for you. The default schemes listed are ones used by many professional photographs but if you prefer your own custom scheme you can switch to Token Mode (the last item in the "SubFolders" dropdown box) and construct your own, see using tokens.
