|
|
Found this program last night and have basically been playing around with it ever since! We just love it! Of course some things could be improved but basically it has all the feature it needs.
I found two bugs just now though:
1. When you remove the last image from a category, the icon for that category for some strange reason is reset to the default "paper" icon - big bug!
2. Once an IPTC field has a value you can change it but NOT completely remove it.
Not a bug but a noticeable problem:
- You cannot see if a file has an "underlying" original version of it (not talking about Quick Edit) and you cannot switched between the original and edited version. Would be nice to even have multiple edited versions but that of course is a more complex issue.
Keep up the good work!! Looking forward to version 3.0!

| Found the you can delete the IPTC value for keywords, but not eg. doc title, author, description, copyright notice etc. |

Actually it is not a bug. Empty category must looks like empty.

I understand what you mean but there are other ways to see if a category is empty. It's inappropiate logic because removing all pictures from a category doesn't necessarily mean that you want to change properties for that category - espacially if you made you own icon from part of a picture!
A system should never force a user to loose custom added information if there is ANY chance that it should still be used.
