|
|
Hello,
I'm running PicaJet on a WinXP SP1-System and the following
problems occur:
1) After a DoubleClick on a thumbnail, PicaJet displays an error
message, that the file has been removed. But if I press the
FIX-Button the new window comes up and displays the right picture.
If the wanted data is stored on an USB drive, this error comes up only
after I imported new data. If the picture comes from a network drive,
the error occurs ALWAYS.
2) I had to move my pictures to a network drive. I mapped the
drive with the same drive letter as the former storage (USB drive) so that
PicaJet should not remark anything of the changes.
I'm afraid that's not the case: First, the import is VERY slow (stored
on a D-Link DSM-G600, EXT2 drive) and as a second point - as mentioned
above - the pictures will not be opened via DoubleClick.
Does anybody have a glue or a hint?
Many thanks in advance.
best regards

PicaJet saves Serial number of drives, so you need to relocate files to another drive even the drives has the same letter (Tools >Recovery missing links).
PicaJet never stores the network paths as mapped paths (G:\ eg.), but stores the full network path (\\server\Media eg.) So you need to recolate files using Recovery missing files tool. |

Thanks for the answer.
If I have the drive connected, PicaJet shows no missing files
via the "recovery missing files" tool. So I can not relocate
them. Nevertheless the file is loaded, if I press the FIX-Button,
so PicaJet has to know the right path.......
It seems, like it only needs a little "kick".....
Anything else I could try?
regards
L.
P.S.: Meanwhile I updated to SP2! |
