Greetings,
I recently purchased PicaJet and it seems quite nice at first glance. There is one problem: I have about 7500 images on a hard disk. Most are in CRW format and are ether 3MB each for the early ones and 6MB for the last two years. The problem is that any attempt at organizing and creating albums brings my computer to it's knees. I have a P4 3GHZ with 1GB DDR memory so it is basically not a slow machine. The question is: should I create several data bases let's say one for each year? Problem of course is that looking for similar pictures becomes a chore. If I keep the one database does it get better after it has been set up?
Any suggestions welcome.
Cheers,
Hans |

Please install latest drivers of your vidoecard. PicaJet uses hardware acceleration so drivers must be installed. Also download the latest PicaJet version because we've add support of RAW previews. |
