|
|
Hello,
I'm going to despair. I have the problem that I created
a new category and when I assign this category to an image
also the category "All files" is added. After saving the meta
data I see also "All files" in the IPTC keywords.
I found this behaviour in the version 2.5.0.477 and it's
the same in 2.5.0.484.
How can I avoid this?
By the way it would be great to know a short cut
for the metadata. In earlier versions it was reachable
via the properties, e.g. with ALT+Enter, now I have to
go in the menu Window->Metadata.
Thanks in advance

I think a Shift+Enter displays the Metadata Window. At least at my version 2.5.0 build 484 this works.
Cheers,

| I cannot reproduce this issue. Could you please tell me more information (file format, how many categories you save etc.)? |

Hi Alex!

Sorry for the late reply, I have been very busy in the last time.
In the meantime I updated to PJ 2.5.0.488.
It's not so easy to reproduce. I've seen the problem, when I assign
one special category to one or more pictures. It's independent of
the number of categories.
Therefore I thought that the name of the problematic category
could be the reason. The name is "TTG" and it's a subcategory of
"Verein".
But renaming of the category does not help.
As the next try I created a new category "TestCat" under "Verein".
Here was no problem with new assigned images. But not all, there
are still some images which can not be assigned without getting
also the "All Files".
It seems to depend on the images, but I have no clue what the reason
could be.
By the way: when I swith the language to German
the additional category has the title "Alle zeigen", i.e. it seems
to be language dependent.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks in advance
