| I want a use a token that reflect the current system time and date rather than the date the image was taken. |

Thanks for the suggestion. Please check this new build.
We'va added 4 new tokens:
token_ddnow=Current system day
token_mmnow=Current system month (01..12)
token_yynow=Current 2 digit system year
token_yyyynow=Current 4 digit system year

Note: It seems like the token names are actually
%sysdd
%sysmm
%sysyy
%sysyyyy
