I have my locate bar set to group by EXIF date, descending. It would be nice if you could sort the main picture view in date descending order too so that your newest pictures are at the top of the list.

You can just select Sort By Exif Date(may be twice) and your photos will be sorted by EXIF date inside of the each group.

Thanks, that works. You could do with some sort of indicator on that menu as to what the current sort is and whether it is ascending or descending.

The major version will be announce at least through several months. But we are planning to announce several minor version before.

Just noticed that this sort setting isn't saved between sessions - it would be fantastic if it did.
