|
|
I downloaded the latest version, loaded new files into the database and let my folder structure on my hard drive be my catagories. My folders are very organized.
I selected the parent folder I wanted to archive with all the subfolders under it. Moved it to to the "tray" because i figured that was how you burn DVD's
Then did burn CD/DVD. It only copied one file over to the DVD, nothing else.
the other thing is the first parent folder on the DVD became the name <tray?
I didnt want that, I selected the other parent under it. Am I doing something wrong or is there still bugs in the system?
The program really looks promising and I really want to get this archive feature working.
any suggestions? _________________ http://www.pbase.com/reflectionsbyruth

You must select files that you want to burn. |

I downloaded and ran but no change.
When forcing Picajet to close I captured some of the files and have sent them to you as a seperate email, hope this helps. |

To eliminate the CD brand I tried it today with a FujiFilm CD-R and exactly the same, the program locks up and I have to restart. |
Just a thought... have any of you having problems burning previously installed any UBI games like Silent Hunter III or Myst, that use the Starforce protection technology? |

how do I archive folders?
Say I want a whole folder and its sub folders to be archived exactly like my hard drive folder structure for example.
2005-October
2005-10-01 Water Mill
2005-10-13 Canal
2005-10-22 WaterFalls
2005-November
2005-11-10 Park
2005-11-23 Lake
2005-11-24 Barns
How exactly do I take 2005 Oct and 2005 Nov with all the 6 subfolders and files under them and archive it exactly like I showed above?
I didnt see any real directions on how to do this. I need all the files inside these folders to stay inside the folders.
Any help appreciated |

Can't you just use a regular CD or DVD burning program? I would think the only reason you would want to use Picajet to burn something is when it is query related. For example: If all of your folders are organized by date and you just wanted to burn a CD of people pictures, Picajet would probably be the way to go. Of course I haven't tested this function yet myself. And that's assuming you can do queries. Picajet won't let me query one of my major categories. |
