It would be great if the shown/hidden panels could be memorized when pressing the 'Tab' key in order to restore it exactly the way that it was before when pressing the 'Tab' key again. It works with the panels position, why not with their status (show/hide) ?

current behaviour example :
Categories / Workspace => Tab => Workspace => Tab => Categories / Workspace / Locate By

wished behaviour example :
Categories / Workspace => Tab => Workspace => Tab => Categories / Workspace

I agree.

The "Tab" feature is great but it should be improved.

It's kind of annoying right now.
