Great program, Only used the demo version for a couple days but after testing many many packages in the past 3 years, this is the best of all of them 
My suggestion is.. unless its alreasy an option and I just dont see it, would be when you offload pics with PicaJet, let it offload pics with the prefix name you choose and the option to add the date as part of the name that it picks up from the exif data.
I always do that when using Nikon's software so that if the exif data ever becomes corrupted, I still have the file name that tells me the date it was taken.
i.e.
BucksCountyPA_2005-08-10-001.nef
BucksCountyPA_2005-08-10-002.nef
................
BucksCountyPA_2005-08-13-001.nef
BucksCountyPA_2005-08-13-002.nef
