Hello there,
I'm not sure, if it is a (new) bug or if I had a dream about a function, picajet had have...so I post this article not to bugs and troubleshooting, but here in:

In these days I evalute PicaJet besides other picture databases - picajet becomes my favorite) and installed a version (2.4) I got from digital imaging journal. In the first attempts to play around with, I think, that I've seen, that in contrast to some other picture databases, PJ rotated my imported pictures
(the thumbnails, not the originals!) in the right direction, which have been photigraphed "lengthwise".

After reading some of the forum's articels (about some bugs), I found, too - I downloaded the last beta version (2.5.429) installed it. There, I think exactly this feature does not work or (with the elder version I had a dream).

Did I recognize right on the elder version (2.4.xxx) or not?
(If I'm right)On which information did PJ decide the rotation?

PicaJet get Rotate information from EXIF data. Some image editing programs rotate's the images but not corrected this flag into the EXIF data. You can manualy switch off this feature from Main Menu > Tools > Options > Import > AutoRotate Images using EXIF orientation.

Thanks (it was OFF in my settings); is it possible, that this feature had been by default switched of in V2.5.429 in contrast to V2.4.xxx?
And another question concerning this great feature: When does the switch (if set to on) take has function? As I told before, I recognized, the rotating pictures (thumbs only) on every start of PicaJet. I think the original pictures are not involved, I'm right?
