I'm a registered user of Picajet. I'm currently using picajet v2.5.0 Build 438. I have 9835 pictures in the Picajet database and I have just discovered that Picajet appears to be "forgetting" the star rating I've assigned to some of my pictures. So far I've come across over 50 pictures which no longer display a star rating in Picajet even though I know I assigned a rating to them. I am sure I assigned a rating because when I set keywords and assign a rating etc. in Picajet I save the information into the picture's IPTC description (Picajet Ctrl-I). The pictures with the missing star rating in Picajet all have Urgency 5 or 9 etc in the IPTC field (where Picajet stores the star rating) which proves that the ratings were assigned on Picajet. I have tried to fix the problem using the the following actions in Picajet (1) Shut down and restart Picajet (2) Deselect "Rating" from my picture information display then reselect it again (3) Refresh (4) Update Thumbnail, (5) Optimize Database. None of these actions have solved the problem . If I delete the picture from the Picajet database then re-import it, the problem is solved and the original rating is retrieved from IPTC and displayed correctly in Picajet, but this is not a practical solution for a large database of pictures. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem ? Thanks.
