Glad to see that the latest version is supporting XMP - but it appears to be read-only - that is, I can't use the Metadata editor to write XMP info back to a file.
Will that feature be added later?
Alternatively, you could adopt the approach taken by PixVue, and mirror the IPTC and XMP content (i.e. when IPTC info is updated, PixVue also writes this into the file in XMP metadata as well). This approach actually works quite well, and it means that I don't have to write the same information twice - the editor handles it for me. It means that while XMP is the way to go, all my files are backwards compatible with applications that only know about the older IPTC-IIM format.
