Suppose that a watched folder contains pictures to small to be imported. [BTW - where is the setting that defines 'small'].
During the first import session all files get imported and at the end a warning box is shown to state that "a given list of images" was not imported because TOO small.
Close picajet.
Start picajet.
A dialog pops up to state that new files where detected.. Confirm ..
A few second|minutes later NO images where imported, but you get the same "list of images" that was not imported.
In my opinion.
* The "import new files in watched folder"-dialog should never popup in the second restart.
* The modal dialog containing information about not-imported images should be replaced by a another notification mechanism.
- a small information button that animates to draw user attention and requests him to click it. Clicking the button shows a list of warnings|errors|informations that occured during current session.
- use notify mechanism see http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/shellcc/platform/shell/reference/functions/shell_notifyicon.asp
