|
|
Is there a particular codec I should use for MPEG2 files, to allow PicaJet to successfully grab a thumbnail.
So far I have tested the following codecs, all play the files fine, but none get a successful screen grab as thumbnail (fyi, the file is not encrpyted MPEG2):
Ligos = Crash Picajet
FFDShow = Black thumnail. In the bottom quarter of the canvas is two squashed identical grabs of the screen.
Cyberlink = Distorted beyond recognition (Diagonal Banding) like bad TV signal.
Fraunhofer = As Cyberlink.
Elecard = As FFDShow.
DScaler = Error "Failed in EnterBitmapGrabMode!"
GPL = As FFDShow.
Stinky's MPEG2 Codec = Error "Bitmap is Null" or something.
Also is there anyway to make the double click to default to external application rather than internal viewer?
Thanks for any help. |

We'd received your file. I'd tryed this file with Picajet and Media Player Classic without success. This file require Ligos MPEG Splitter codec.
Here is info:

You need to install Ligos Codec. Here is L-lite Codec Pack:
http://files.3dnews.ru/pub/dvd/klcodec277f.exe
Please select Ligos MPEG2 codec during installation.
There is some problem with getting duration of movie files compressed with Ligos Codec. We'd fixed this problem. It will available at next builds. |
