I click "arrange-by" then choose any option but the thumbnails never move.
I have renamed some files and want to see them in the new file-name order but arrange-by does not work.
If I delete from album then re-import the order is now correct, but this is tedious.

the version I am using is the latest available .. 2.5.0 build 473
It is the same as the one in the link you provided - your "2.6" should be a "2.5" ... as far as I can see on the web site there is no version 2.6
