Hi all
It took me several hours searching on google and trying out different picture managing tools until I found PicaJet FX. And it's the first tool that is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the great program!
The only negative point is that it seems to have some stability issues - at least under windows vista. As I'm software engineer too, I'd like to help finding some of the issues.
I found out that when I activate the option "Automatically reflect the outside file metadata changes" PicaJet FX will hang after the next restart when clicking on a category (to see all pictures of that category). This is reproducible and happenes all the time.
I'm pretty sure that it gets into a deadlock because it checks if the displayed pictures at startup are checked to be updated with the metadata. It might be a problem with an initial value that is not set correctly.
It would be great if you could look at this issue.
